Our Busiest Ever Quarter

We are delighted to report our busiest ever quarter for the business across April to June.

Highlights included…….

We launched our Step Change/ Breakthrough Workshop with HSBC Commercial Banking in Leicestershire in May and had superb feedback from the businesses attending. So far we have followed up with two of the attending businesses to discuss their specific challenges and how we might help them. We will now be extending this programme with HSBC Leicestershire to a bi monthly event and have already been asked to roll this out to other HSBC Commercial centres.

In addition we have been asked to play a part in the planned National Breakfast Seminar programme of another Bank (introduced by one of our Partner organisations) which is rapidly expanding in the UK. Set to commence in September 2014, these seminars will focus on growth in business and we will be talking about some of the techniques and tools required to make real growth happen. Presenting alongside a representative from the Bank of England at these seminars, we are expecting very positive results in terms of increasing the Tinderbox profile and awareness among many business communities Nationwide.

We also ran a Workshop hosted by one of our Accounting partners in June which was equally successful to that run with HSBC Leicestershire and we are following up with some of the business attendees to discuss their specific issues and challenges.

Assignments continue to be added and amongst others we have commenced work with a major Logistics business following a high quality assessment period carried out by one of our Regional Specialists.

We have already recruited two Associate Partners as we progress our National expansion programme. Our AP in the South West has already made great strides in his area and our second AP starts in South West London on the 1st August. We are also talking to a handful of high quality Executives who are keen to change their career direction and see Tinderbox as an ideal way to do that. That said we will continue to be highly selective in whom we offer as it is essential that all of our AP’s are capable of replicating the Midlands business model that has been so successful in the last five years where we have now helped 50+ businesses improve their performance.

In market terms we sense a cautious optimism now within the SME community and there are a number of businesses who see the next year as a crucial one and who are looking to grow significantly across that period. We are well placed and very well equipped with the quality team that we possess to provide the right advice and assist in the successful implementation of that programme for businesses that are serious about their intent.
